The program helps individuals between 0 and 26 transition into adulthood through activities, groups, counseling, and peer support.  Job Summary: The Trauma Care Coordinator is an integral interdisciplinary team member for the System of Care Grant in Hinds County. The Trauma Care Coordinator's primary responsibility is to respond to the needs of the adult, child/adolescent consumers using a patient-centered approach that removes silos of care and supports an integrated system for ages 0-21. This position will provide whole-person care coordination across medical, behavioral, and social service community systems. Additionally, the Trauma Care Coordinator provides care coordination in an array of services and ensures all clinicians are providing evidence-based treatment practices at all times, providing targeted case management and referral services to clients. The position requires travel. The Trauma Care Coordinator reports to the Project Director. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and experience as a clinician working with children and their families.  License is preferred.  If not licensed, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and (CMHT) must be obtained within two (2) years from the date of issuance of provisional.  Requires flexibility regarding working conditions and assignments, good oral and written communication skills and thorough knowledge of psychiatric disorders and corresponding treatment for children and adolescents.  Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Must have valid driver’s license in Mississippi and proof of auto insurance. This position has been determined to have an occasional or very low risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

The Director of Business and Financial Services must lead with personal integrity that aligns with HBHS's mission and values, demonstrating respect for individuals, a commitment to excellence, and ethical decision-making. This role requires active engagement in the community mental health center movement at the local, state, and national levels. The CFO oversees all financial operations, manages multi-source funding, and advises the Executive Director and Board of Commissioners, ensuring resources are effectively aligned with the mission to provide high-quality behavioral health services to marginalized and underserved populations.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in administration and auditing, preferably in CMHCs, behavioral health, or nonprofit healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CMHC accounting, finance, audit readiness, grants management, revenue cycle, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to drive strategic financial initiatives, organizational development, and long-term sustainability.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Boards of Commissioners or governing boards.
  • Active CPA licensure (or equivalent professional certification such as CGFO or CMA)
  • Knowledge of Mississippi CMHC statutes and DMH Operational Standards.
  • Experience managing multiple federal, state, and local grants.
  • Experience leading organizational financial stabilization or systems-level reforms.

Job Summary: The Co-Occurring Disorder (COD) Therapist serves as the subject matter expert in integrated treatment for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Job Summary: Hinds Behavioral Health Services (HBHS) is seeking a CCBHC Benefits Specialist to support individuals receiving mental health and substance use services by helping them access critical public benefits. This role plays a vital part in improving stability, access to care, and recovery outcomes by assisting clients with Social Security (SSI/SSDI), Medicaid, and other insurance applications.

The CCBHC Benefits Specialist works collaboratively with internal care teams and external agencies to ensure timely, accurate benefit enrollment and ongoing eligibility support.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist clients with applying for and maintaining SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, and other public benefits

  • Educate clients on eligibility requirements, coverage options, and benefit processes

  • Complete and track applications, documentation, and follow-up with SSA, Medicaid offices, and other agencies

  • Coordinate with HBHS care teams to support continuity of care

  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies

  • Support HBHS’s mission of recovery-oriented, person-centered care

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field

  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
