Position: Psychiatrist

Department: Medical Services

Job Summary: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing sound medical care, assessing consumer needs for mental health services in a timely fashion; completing initial psychiatric evaluation, conducting medication evaluations as necessary to monitor consumer care and stability. Interviewing consumers and significant others to identify extent and effects of disorder(s). Assists in developing and implementing specific treatment/service plan based on study of consumer’s problems for an assigned caseload of consumers with mental health disorders and/or chemical dependency disorders, and facilitating compliance to clients of all age groups; in outpatient and emergency services.

Qualifications: Must be licensed in the State of Mississippi as a practicing physician. Board certification is also preferred. Previous experience in a chemical dependency treatment or mental health setting preferred. Ability to see all age groups preferred. Prefer experience in psychiatric consumer care throughout the life cycle. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric) limitations and planned procedures. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases, with occasional exposure to unpleasant consumer elements. Good communication skills are necessary.

Position: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Summary: The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides primary medical care to all age groups with mental health disorders and/or chemical dependency disorders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing sound medical care, supporting, developing and/or applying the treatment/service plan, and facilitating compliance. Serves as a member of appropriate interdisciplinary treatment team.

Qualifications: Must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant and a valid Mississippi License, Board certification required. Position: AOT Team Leader

Department:AOT Program

Job Summary: Assist in the development and implementation of the policies, practices and program plans of the service managed and the facility of the AOT Program. Responsible for creating an environment conducive to high-quality consumer care. Provide clinical supervision of the AOT Program and staff. This is a grant based position.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related field required, along with three years’ experience in a mental health services delivery setting and at least one year supervisory experience. Must possess a mental health license or certification, or be eligible for such, licence preferred. If without a current license, a Provisional Certification through the Department of Mental Health (PCMHT) must be acquired and documentation presented to Human Resources within 90 days from hire date and CMHT must be obtained within 2 years for the date of hire. Position: Project Director

Department:Nfusion Program

Job Summary: Director is responsible for establishing the organizational structure; hiring and supervising all program staff; and providing leadership in all facets of the development of the program. The Project Director will provide daily oversight of the administration of services in the project and assist in carrying out the daily activities. Position: A&D Support Service Clerk

Department:A&D Services

Job Summary: Answers incoming phone calls and transfers them to appropriate extensions; takes messages and monitors schedules of A & D staff; acts as receptionist for consumers and controls traffic flow between consumers and physicians; makes appointments and keeps daily schedules accurate. Position: Peer Support Specialist

Department:Adult Services

Job Summary: The Peer Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers of all ages in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as role models to peers, helping other consumers with skill building, goal setting, problem-solving and finding resources. This position is grant-based and the majority of the work will be in the community.

Qualifications: Must possess High School diploma or GED equivalent, self-identify as a current or former consumer of mental health services or self-identity as first degree family member. Individuals must successfully complete the DMH approved Certified Peer Specialist training and certification exam to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist. Also, individuals have a valid driver license, a good driving record, proof of legally required auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for agency business.
