Position: Psychiatrist

Department: Medical Services

Job Summary: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing sound medical care, assessing consumer needs for mental health services in a timely fashion; completing initial psychiatric evaluation, conducting medication evaluations as necessary to monitor consumer care and stability. Interviewing consumers and significant others to identify extent and effects of disorder(s). Assists in developing and implementing specific treatment/service plan based on study of consumer’s problems for an assigned caseload of consumers with mental health disorders and/or chemical dependency disorders, and facilitating compliance to clients of all age groups; in outpatient and emergency services.

Qualifications: Must be licensed in the State of Mississippi as a practicing physician. Board certification is also preferred. Previous experience in a chemical dependency treatment or mental health setting preferred. Ability to see all age groups preferred. Prefer experience in psychiatric consumer care throughout the life cycle. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize consumers’ individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric) limitations and planned procedures. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases, with occasional exposure to unpleasant consumer elements. Good communication skills are necessary.

Position: Registered Nurse

Department:AOT Program

Job Summary: Provide nursing care services of psychiatric consumers in the AOT Program. Designs nursing care plans and assists in the development of the overall care plan for psychiatric consumers. Ensures appropriate overall care is administered in a manner conductive to recovery. This position is grant-based.

Qualifications: Minimum Associate’s degree in nursing required: current RN license in Mississippi and previous psychiatric experience preferred. Must have a valid Mississippi drivers’ license and maintain proof of auto insurance. OSHA- moderate to high risk. May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases; occasional exposure to unpleasant consumer or unit elements, subject to varying and unpredictable situations.

Position: Director of Compliance

Department:Quality Assurance

Job Summary: Implements written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct related to compliance activities, including but not limited to client and billing records. Provides oversight to the compliance department, developing effective lines of communication, enforcing standards through well publicized guidelines and policies, conducting internal monitoring and auditing, and responding promptly to compliance issues. The responsibilities also include working closely with key managers to identify aberrant trends, address policy issues, and develop/implement solutions to remedy identified problems.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration or related field. A minimum of 10 years experience in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadership. Must be licensed as a mental health professional. Position: Children & Youth Therapist

Department:Children & Youth Services

Job Summary: Provides mental health assessment, evaluation, and counseling for children with emotional/behavioral/ conduct disorders and families of those children. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, individual group & family therapy and provision training workshops in area of expertise.

Job Summary: Locates, logs, delivers, retrieves, and files medical records as required. Maintains establish departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety. Position: Facilities Tech

Department:Maintenance

Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment. Job duties include but not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping all areas of the building including lobbies and rest rooms. Assists with monitoring generators and fire extinguishers to ensure compliance; as well as plumbing, painting, carpentry and notifies supervisor of need for minor/major repairs.
