Welcome to Hinds Behavioral Health Services - Region 9 Mental Health Center
About Us
Hinds Behavioral Health Services (HBHS) is one of the 15 regional community mental health centers in Mississippi and it serves the residents of Hinds County. First opened in 1971, the Center offers a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services to adults and children, both in the center and in the community. Since the services are attainable based on the ability to pay, behavioral healthcare is affordable to all.
The main campus is located at 3450 Highway 80 West. HBHS also has a psychosocial program located at 124 South Street in downtown Jackson as well as our new Cedars elderly services program located at 5410 Executive Place in North Jackson.
